ADHD Medication Rules: Amazon Digital all aboard!

All Aboard! Amazon Calling

ADHD Medication Rules Hits Amazon Soon

ADHD Medication Rules, the digital version of my recent book, on paying attention to the ADHD medication details, will soon become available on Amazon in a new, fresh, second edition! Heads up for some fun haps coming here soon – fasten your seat belts for a serious launch-blast with several BIG door prizes right here at CorePsych Blog next week. Think ahead, plan to get your ticket, the train will be leaving about Sept 1, yes, 2011. 😉

CorePsych Blog has been quiet for some time, as I have been writing comments on the LA Times, the NY Times, and Psychiatric Times following the many published remarks with significant misinformation about psych meds running around the ethers – sorry about that. Then, on top of all that, I've significantly improved Rules with a “landscape” edition [for your wide computer], a Kindle and Nook edition [for your Kindle or Nook reader in “portrait” configuration], and this launch at Amazon. Our team has been busy! [Details next week.]

“Diagnosis regarding ADHD,” and “imprecision with meds,”  have been hot Internet topics for many recent weeks – and we've been reporting on all these conundrums at CorePsych Blog for the past 5 years. So now is the time to really go public with those specific, much needed, ADHD medication details. Yes, ADHD diagnostic and treatment challenges are just the tip of the evolving neopsych iceberg.  But ADHD is a seriously pervasive tip on that iceberg of psych appearances, is way too often overlooked and misidentified, and too often treated without thinking about the essential underlying neuroscience details.

ADHD Medication Rules spells out the details for anyone at any level.

ADHD Medication Rules is the only book out there that breaks down the best neuroscience into useful bundles for using/prescribing ADHD medications – and the problems with those stimulant meds today are nothing less than pandemic!

Heads Up! Significant Cool Prizes Coming Soon 😎

More details in the blog coming next weekend, but suffice to say I will be trying to drum up some serious launch attention, with your help.  Advancing new information about ADHD treatment is not about me, it's about we, – what we deal with everyday. Yes, I do want to be a spokesperson for ADHD medication change, I really do want your help to encourage that change, and I will even give you a big opportunity for several very cool ethical bribes to encourage your participation in spreading the word about the availability of Rules on Amazon. The method to the madness is transparent: a big launch at Amazon will bring some needed attention to a serious national problem – together we can make a difference.

For your help with this launch I will be providing a very cool endorsement contest for a drawing – with 5 winners for several big goodies.  One part of the drawing winnings will be 5 Rare Solid ADHD Geek Super Trophies – the real guts of a SPECT gamma camera, 5 PMTs [Photo Multiplier Tubes – yours will look much better than the one here on Wikipedia] worth ~ 800$ new, pictures next week. More details then, so stay tuned.

BTW: That PMT  picks up the gamma radiation from metastable Technetium-99m, accelerates the gamma rays up through an analog signal, converts it to digital and sends it in to become the SPECT brain scan picture itself. Pretty darn cool, – it should come with Geek Certification! 😎 [I carried two in my pockets for days, but that story for next week.] If you have had SPECT imaging, if your husband is a techy, if you, like myself are a wanna-be techy, this is the most super cool Trophy you can have on your mantle. Your home will be a different place with a PMT casually sitting in an obvious bookshelf.

Plan to take a berth on this special train when it leaves…. stay tuned!

Also: Please do pass this post around to your colleagues and friends so we can all get on this important train together! Email and Share buttons galore, just below. Like it Facebook! Oh yeah! Let's rock!

As soon as this 2nd edition is available through Amazon I am going to purchase at least two copies. And then I am going to hand deliver them to a couple of Doctors that are currently prescribing the usual amphetamine type drug for the treatment of ADHD, but without therapy in place!!!! AMAZING!!! Especially since those individuals being prescribed for are Children!!!! So Dr. Parker I would love to see more information on how to go about tactfully introducing the highly accurate informative and practical ADHD Medication Rules book to these Psy Doctors that treat ADHD with Medication only!

  4. Roger,
As my writing coach, and a significant inspiration for follow thru on Rules, I can tell you I really appreciate all you’ve done for me and for this project! The post today will hopefully stir up some buzz as we launch at Amazon on Sept 1.

    Thanks for being there!
