ADHD Diagnosis: ADHD or Just a Bad Person?

Depressed, ADHD, Anxious, Manic/Bipolar: Now much more than just a few neurotransmitter actions.

You used to think of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine as the only relevant neurotransmitters… but the new world of neurotransmitter measurement adds more to the picture – even in healthy brains. This program follows our introductory CorePsych Radio program on neurotransmitter precursors with graphic details of how many of the many neurotransmitters work together.

This Thursday  at 4 PM EDT/1 PM PDT my program at CorePsych Radio will give you an oppotunity to follow along an interesting presentation with a PDF slide show entitled Neurotransmitters and Their Role in Health.

Please join me – and do go to the CorePsych Radio Link above to download the PDF for easy visuals with the program. I will show you how to load and use the PDF during the program.

See ya there!

Great article. Has anyone tried any supplements or products. I heard about this thing called focus fast but i have yet to try it. here is the website for anyone that can offer some info:

    • Interesting product – looks like it might be helpful from a shotgun approach… but we have seen many who actually have trouble with the specific amino acids being too high with ADHD – e.g. tyrosine… so my own admittedly conservative point of view, is, they can be right, but they could add to the problem, as we all have with psych meds in the first place. Some folks come in out of balance in this manner and we do see them deteriorate with the “right meds.’

I’m definitely for evidence – not against the functional/supplement strategy, not against the pharma interventions, just against getting any intervention wrong.

I agree with you. I learned the hard way about neurotransmitter. Most people do not realize how they are affected. This topic is so important these days because of the dangers people face as a result of the effect of computer use on neurotransmitters. I have written a book I have actually written a book “Lessons I Learned the Hard Way – How to identify, minimize, manage and treat computer related health issue” it is available at http://www.strategicbookpublishing.com/LessonsILearnedtheHardWay.html. I believe it is a must read for all health care providers computer users. I have written this book to alert others to the health dangers inherent in computer use using medical research from all over the world and explain solutions. I hope you get hold of a copy. I also have a website. The URL is http://www.computeragehealthrisk.com.I can be reached at lessonsilearnedthehardway@gmail.com for further discussions. I wish you all the best.
