ADHD: Beyond Dopamine and Norepinephrine

Each one of these neurotransmitters in this list is associated with a link that will take you further down the ADHD neuronal/glial communication path. We can't think anymore, as we did just a couple of years ago, that dopamine and norepinephrine are the only relevant neurotransmitters for ADHD treatment.

It's not as bad as back on the Western Front 1918 relying on carrier pigeons released from a British tank, but the technology back then wasn't there for the messages. Now we can appreciate that more opportunities for effective communication do exist thru other pathways.

Consider These

  1. Dopamine Details
  2. Norepinephrine Details
  3. Glutamate Details
  4. PEA Details
  5. Glial Cell Details

Understanding these many communication opportunities at first seems complex, but when the potential for correction is fully appreciated we will find consistently more effective treatments. Stimulants help, but the background noise can become deafening.

Measurement matters.
