ADHD Measurements: Consider Hormone Imbalance  Hormone evaluation matters

If you don’t first consider, then measure for specific hormone imbalances you’ll remain unconvinced that hormone fluctuations do often create significant ADHD symptoms. Well then, you may ask, what hormones matter?

Consider This Brief ADHD Hormone List

  1. Estrogen/Progesterone balance
  2. Medication dosage and Periods
  3. Menopause
  4. Adrenal Fatigue, Insufficiency
  5. Thyroid Imbalance – Hyperactivity
  6. Thyroid Imbalance – Inattentive
  7. Andropause

Too many who suffer with ADHD symptoms are treated with stimulants for underlying, measurable biomedical issues.

  1. John Bennett says:

I have just received back test results for a full thyroid profile which i suspected might be contributing to my afternoon energy drop. It showed that I have all measures ‘within normal limits’

However the Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies are elevated but under 34IU/mL – the figure was 31 and the same test last year it was 11. So my antibodies are increasing but not above what Dr’s consider abnormal.

    Do you have any advice?
